Voltaren Gel is a topical anti-inflammatory, which is rubbed on to painful areas. This works best for pain located near the surface, such as in conditions like tennis elbow, anterior knee pain, or deltoid or back pain due to shoulder issues. This product is a NSAID, but is absorbed through the skin and is low risk for patients with kidney disease, gastric ulcers, or on blood thinners.
These resistance bands are great for shoulder strengthening at home. Resistance band therapy is ideal for rotator cuff strengthening. These can be used with my home shoulder physical therapy sheet.
Disclaimer: I have not personally used or tested all of the products recommended. It is from my experience and knowledge of Orthopedic Surgery, that I give my best recommendations. Users should follow the instructions provided by the manufacturers.

Thorne is the best quality whey protein on the market. I personally take this daily and recommend for patients after injury and especially after surgery. Would recommend taking daily for at least 12 weeks.

Creatine helps promote physical endurance, power output, and increased work capacity of muscle. It has also been shown to improve cognition, and is actively being studied in Alzheimer's patients. I personally take this product after working out and have my wife and parents taking daily for the cognitive benefits.

Glutamine is the most prevalent amino acid in the bloodstream, it is depleted in injuries and after intense exercise. A recent JBJS article showed that Glutamine supplementation helped rotator cuff repairs heal better. I recommend this for patients with orthopedic injuries and especially for my rotator cuff repair patients.

Thorne offers a protein and amino acid stack which is great for individuals who are doing physical therapy and weight training exercises. The products in this stack provide amino acids and protein necessary to support muscle recovery. I would recommend to take after exercise or physical therapy.
